LINK — Three Words, One Answer

This applies to LINK version 1.1.0 and later, which is where the weekly leaderboard was introduced. Earlier versions create no account of any kind and store nothing about you outside your own device.

The first time you open the Weekly board, LINK creates an anonymous identifier for that installation of the app. You are never asked to register, and there is no username, password, email address or phone number involved. The identifier cannot be used to sign in anywhere, cannot be moved to another device, and is not connected to any other account you hold.

If you never open the Weekly board, nothing is created and nothing about you is stored outside your own device.

Attached to that anonymous identifier, LINK stores only:

• the display name you chose in Settings, or the one the game generated for you;
• your Daily Challenge score for the current week, and the days it came from.

These are held in Google Firebase on our behalf. Your game progress, levels, stars, badges, word bank and settings are not part of this — they stay in private storage on your device and are never uploaded.

Open Settings, find Leaderboard, and tap Remove me, then confirm.

This immediately and permanently deletes:

• your entries on every weekly leaderboard;
• the stored copy of your display name;
• the anonymous identifier itself.

Nothing is retained after this and there is no recovery period — the records are removed rather than marked as deleted. Your game progress is untouched, and you can keep playing exactly as before. If you open the Weekly board again later, a new anonymous identifier is created with no link to the old one.

The row only appears once you have actually been on a leaderboard. If you do not see it, nothing of yours is stored to delete.

If you have uninstalled the app, or cannot reach the Settings screen, email admin@euphorolink.com with the display name that appears on the leaderboard, and we will remove the entry for you.

Because LINK holds no email address, no account name and nothing else that identifies you, the display name is the only way we can find the right record — so please include it, and tell us roughly which week you played. Requests are handled within 30 days and usually much sooner.

Your progress never leaves your device, so it is not part of a deletion request. To erase it, use Settings → Reset progress, or uninstall the app — either removes all of it permanently.

Separately from the leaderboard, LINK uses Google AdMob for ads and Firebase Analytics for basic usage measurement. These are described in the LINK privacy policy, which also explains the controls available to you, including the advertising and consent options in Settings.
